Learn more about Teaching & Learning Inquiry's Move to Open Access at ISSOTL 2015

To learn more about the journal's move to open access, attend the ISSOTL 2015 conference session, Teaching & Learning Inquiry Goes Open Access: Understanding the Benefits to Authors, Readers, and the SoTL Community. This open discussion with the ISSOTL Publications Advisory Committee is scheduled for Thursday, October 29, 2015, 17:45-19:00, in Room 16.07.007.

ISSOTL 2015 Conference Highlights

In addition to an array of accomplished Keynote and Invited Speakers, the 2015 conference features:

  • A student welcome event, Wednesday, October 28th, 12:30-13:30, Room 16.07.008
  • A poster session during Wednesday's conference lunch
  • The annual ISSOTL Business Meeting during Thursday's conference lunch
  • Interest group meetings (see the program for specific times)

Write for the Blog & Share your Conference Experience

If you are attending the 2015 conference, consider writing about your conference experience for ISSOTL's blog. The Communications Committee invites

  • commentaries on presentations within one of the conference themes,
  • profiles of engaging sessions,
  • responses to plenaries,
  • updates from Interest Groups, and
  • other reflections on the state of SoTL, as represented at the conference.

Potential posts to the blog can cover a range of topics, including but not limited to:

  • Society news from a board member, committee, or special interest group;

  • syntheses of recent SoTL research;

  • previews of recently published Teaching & Learning Inquiry articles;

  • showcases of SoTL research initiatives;

  • updates on SoTL innovations in international regions; and

  • introductions to SoTL resources that are relevant to ISSOTL members.

ISSOTL maintains a Job Posting forum for members. Current members may post job ads from their institution by logging in, visiting the Job Posting forum, and clicking "New Topic."
