2) Mentorship and Empowerment - helping colleagues to strengthen their teaching and learning practices; mentoring and coaching colleagues; removing barriers; sharing resources; building capacity for growth; sharing insights and advice; bringing colleagues together. 

3) Action-orientation - effecting change; taking risks; creating and facilitating long-term transformation; demonstrating innovation; initiating a project. 

4) Teaching Excellence - Facilitating; enabling and empowering students; building confidence in learners; eliminating barriers to learning; inspiring and building students’ confidence; being exemplary master teachers; effectively communicating and collaborating with students; making learning experiences better. 

5) Pedagogical Research - Demonstrating research capacity in teaching and learning that yields published works and practical application across disciplines locally, nationally, and internationally.
