Members of HistorySoTL held a SIG meeting in Atlanta, GA (USA) at the 2019 ISSOTL conference.

HistorySoTL held an election for new officers representing Australasia, Europe, and North America in Spring 2019.

US Regional Meeting & Request for Updates

Dear U.S. ISSOTL members,

As your regional VPs, we would like to hear about any special SOTL activities your institution has launched/sponsored that might be of interest to the larger community. This information will go into our regional report at the Board meeting immediately prior to the Atlanta Conference. Typically, people have shared SOTL-related conferences hosted around the country, launch of new blogs or other social media channels and receipt of relevant grants.

2019 Student Presentation Awards

ISSOTL is dedicated to fostering inquiry and disseminating findings about what improves and articulates post-secondary learning and teaching in any discipline. We also recognize the importance of engaging and supporting the emerging generation of SoTL scholars. The ISSOTL Awards for Best Student Presentation/Poster acknowledge work that best represents the purposes, goals, and vision of ISSOTL and adds new knowledge, contributes innovative research, and/or provides insightful contribution to the field by a student presenter. 

New this Year - ISSOTL Conference Enrichment Travel Award

We are pleased this year to announce the ISSOTL Conference Enrichment Travel Award (ICETA)This award is intended to support members who might not otherwise be able to attend the ISSOTL 2019 conference in Atlanta due to financial constraints and is aligned with ISSOTL’s commitment to diversity and inclusivity.
