Student Engagement & Co-Inquiry Merger
We would like to announce the Student Engagement and Students and Co-inquirers interest groups have merged to become the Student Engagement & Co-Inquiry interest group.
Since both SIGs are student-centric, there is often significant overlap in the questions and issues discussed. For these reasons, it was proposed to merge the SIGs as both promote student involvement in ISSOTL. The interests, concerns, and goals of these groups overlap. The merger also addresses the common practice for the groups to hold joint-meetings at the annual ISSOTL conference. A poll of members for each group, conducted in 2019, supported this merger, which was formally approved by the ISSOTL board in 2019.
As several co-chairs approach graduation, we invite others to join as new co-chairs going forward. Please contact Chris Ostrowdun (formerly Ostrowski) (firstname.lastname@example.org), Galicia Blackman (email@example.com), to learn more.
